HOW TO GET TO GCGD

Directions on how to get there, whether you are using  own transport, Buses, Trains its simple to get there.

Just find your way onto Smith Street and head for Parklands Showgrounds opposite Griffith Uni at Parklands Drive Southport.


 



Driving

From the Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise areas, travel north on the Gold Coast Highway. Turn left at Smith Street Southport, take the Parklands Drive exit (right) and follow about one hundred metres and turn right into Parklands Show Ground parking. Look for The Gay Day entrance down to the left of the Colin Meagher Pavillion.
If travelling from Brisbane Southbound along the M1 turn off at Exit 66 (Smith st Exit) and follow along Smith street until you get to Parklands Drive. Turn left come up the road a few hundred metres, turn right into the car park. 

 From the south, travel north along the M1 until you get to the Smith st Exit 66, follow along smith street until Parklands dr, turn left and come up to the Parklands carpark entrance.

Buses

Surfside Bus runs to and from near to Parklands Showgrounds Landmark is  Griffith Uni. Here is a direct download for bus timetables Route 709 that operates between Pacific Fair & Helensvale Station on Sundays bus route.

Make sure you check the weekend timetable when looking for your bus.

Trains

The closest train station to the Parklands is Helensvale. This station is situated north-west of the showground and is approximately 15 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bus. The train also continues to & from Robina & Varsity which is South-east of the showground. Again check the train & bus services timetables at TransLink Website.
